Slow Mac

I got my Mac book pro back from repair and it has not run the same since, its slow and hangs with the rainbow spinning wheel all the time. I force quit every time. Help. App don't update either.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

To get a good look at your System config. for conflicts or issues, you can run this utility http://etrecheck.com

You can also take the laptop back to the repair shop and have them resolve the issue if the issue did not exist before the repair.

Definitely post the EtreCheck report as suggested by @leroydouglas in case it is just a software issue. It is also possible macOS and some apps are just updating or running checks if the laptop has not been booted into macOS for a while during the repair process.
