I recently changed my password on my Apple Watch and I’m pretty sure I knew what it was but it keeps saying I was wrong so it locked me out. Apple support said to unpair it, so I did. It’s unpaired from my phone but the watch is still locked. I can’t pair it again. How do I reset the watch itself completely?

Unpairing should erase the watch but for some reason it failed to complete correctly. Use the second method in If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support and Erase again, noting the requirement for charger power or it will not show the Erase option.
