I was wondering how can I do a Live Photo for my lock screen?
• when I tried to press and hold on the screen of my phone, my Live Photo was not activating
• I went on YouTube and tried out the steps people were providing and It still wasn’t working
So apple what should I do in this situation?
Do Live Photo’s work for my phone or all iPhone XR’s?

on XR models you can take a live photo and make it move in camera roll, but you CAN NOT use it as a live wallpaper, because XRs don't have 3D touch hardware capability.

You can't since the Xr doesn't feature 3D Touch which would be required for Live Wallpapers. Also 3D Touch is hardware and it cannot be added.
You can do nothing about it. Well, except for using a different iPhone model.
