Driver "Needs Troubleshooting" and Unknown Devices

Hi,

I'm on a late 2015 27'' iMac, running macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and my Boot Camp partition runs Windows 10.

My iMac appears as DESKTOP-*** ('***' to signal alpha-numeric code), it's Device profile states that it "Needs troubleshooting":

The reason for this appears to be two "Unknown devices", as seen in Device Manager:

Is this a known problem? And, how can I fix it?

Any hints and insights on this issue would be much appreciated.

I have solved the issue for the first one, "root\NetTap6" ("Hardware ID"). I updated the driver by browsing in my computer in the folder: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\

That solves it.

As for the second one, it's still in the wild. Has anyone got any clue on how to fix it?

Any insights would be most welcome.

Here are the Hardware Ids of both devices:

And just for a few more bytes, the General info for both devices:

They seem of no demonstrable use or origin, but they are the product of the Boot Camp/Windows installation, not posterior. They were there from the start.

Yes, in the XML file there are two Fresco Logic xHCI (and USB 3.0) drivers declared: "Fresco Logic xHCI (USB3) Device Driver" and "Fresco Logic xHCI (USB3) Hub Device Driver". There are also twelve Intel USB 3.0 drivers declared. But their respective files aren't there, and there is even no "Fresco Logic" sub-folder.

And yes, there is also a "Broadcom" BootCamp/Drivers sub-folder.

Here goes, the list of Broadcom devices under the hood of this iMac:

Wi-fi Airport Extreme Card: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0

USB 3.0 Bus: Bluetooth USB Host Controller — PID 8294

Ethernet Controller: Broadcom 57766-A1 — PID 1686

Apple Bluetooth Software Version 6.0.12f1:

iMac Hardware, Features and Settings — PID 82794

Magic Keyboard — PID 0267

Magic Trackpad — PID 0265

Have you got an idea which one might be the "Unknown device"? Given it's location in Windows 10, I'd go for the "Bluetooth USB Host Controller", but it's just a wild guess.

Yes, the best thing is to leave it as is. It's not been solved, but it seems that nothing of substance comes from persisting on this issue.

I haven't tried Microsoft Forums per se, but I've tried asking Microsoft support for help. It was pointless.

Thank you for your time, Lone T.
