All Apps freeze when trying to print...

Lately, when I try to print something, whatever app I am using freezes. I have to Force Quit the app but it does this repeatedly. The only way to print is to restart in Safe Mode. I can print then after restarting again in regular mode but a day or two later the same thing happens. I can't even get into Printers & Scanners without System Prefs freezing as well. Is there a permanent fix for this?

BTW, I can print from my iPad with no problems.

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report...

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.

Adware removed using EtreCheck Pro.

Login Items are at the bare minimum needed.

Could not find anything called "o1dbrowserplugin:".

Which 3 .plists are you referring to? I might have already trashed them along with the adware.

I'm going to restart now then see if I can print something.

After restart the original problem persists. Any app that I try to Print from freezes (beachball), including trying to access the Printers & Scanners panel in System Preferences. 🙁

I did everything you said (although there are some browser extensions that I use all the time and have had them way before this printing problem started) but I still cannot print from any app nor can I open the Printers & Scanners pane under System Prefs. I just get the spinning beachball and "[app X] not responding" when I open the Force Quit pane.

Thanks anyway for trying to help.
