Hello, I’ve recently subscribed for Apple Music, but for some reason I did not get a 3months free trial, I was charged since the beginning. Why is that?

  • If the confirmation email (send directly after signup) says that you get the full trial period, then that is exactly what you should get.
  • The trial period is only for new subscribers. If you subscribed before, then you may not qualify.
  • Using a new card for payment method may be reason to test it for automatic online payments, in the way of an “authorization hold”. This is not a fee, and it will be undone or reversed once it clears. About payment card authorization holds from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
  • Other charges for other items may apply:

See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
