How to get rid of anti-malware program

I fell for this anti-malware program, and now I've received a notice that it will automatically renew if I don't do something. However, I'm finding it hard to learn how to cancel it or how to get rid of it from my Mac (HighSierra 10.13.6). I'm wondering, after reading John Galt's article, if some of the instability I'm experiencing might be due to Komros. Hoping for a reply before Aug. 8!!

Yes. No Anti-Virus software or so-called “cleaning” apps are needed or recommended for Mac OS. They can conflict with Mac's own built-in security. At best they will slow your Mac by using unnecessary resources and at worst will bork your entire system.

Follow the developer's instructions to uninstall it. Or post an Etrecheck report which will show all the areas where it's installed and then you can delete all the pieces.
