2nd hand apple watch

I bought my Apple Watch 2nd hand and the last owner deleted it from his account but it still won’t let me use my Apple ID to sign in. It says it is still connected to his account

Apple watch i recently bought an Apple Watch from someone and when I first got it everything was signed out and ready to use. After awhile I decided to sign out and erase everything and restart it. My boyfriend wanted to use it so he tried to pair it to his phone and now it’s saying it’s locked. He can’t put no info because it needs the previous owner ( which is the person I bought it from) Apple ID. I tried to ask the guy I bought it for if he can please meet me to take his Apple ID off but he no longer answers. How do I solve this problem?! Please help.

Just got Apple Watch, but it won’t let me sign into my Apple account becuase the previous owner has to sign into theirs How do I sign into my Apple account, because it won’t let me without the previous owner signing into theirs?

Then he didn't prepare it properly for you. You need him to do the following or you'll never able to use the watch:

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else - Apple Support

If he can't or is unwilling to do what is contained in the support article, send it back for refund.
