iMac stuck at startup lodading screen

My iMac 27" late 2012 cannot boot up recently. It stuck at the startup loading screen. The progress bar reaches about 60-70% and stops there for ever. I tried to boot into safe mode and recovery mode and got the same result. The network recovery mode loads something then stuck at the progress bar again. I also tried to reset SMC and Pram with no luck.

I got dual boot on the iMac. So, I tried to boot into Windows 10 as well. But got a black screen after the windows startup screen.

Basically, none of the boot options work.

BTW, I also tried to take out the memory sticks and put different ones back on different slots. It made no difference.

Did anyone have similar issue before?

Try Single User Mode (hold command-s keys)

At the prompt, enter this command:

/sbin/fsck -fy

Press the Return key.

This will check your directory and report that it was OK or repaired. Then enter this command to

startup normally:

reboot

Run Apple Diagnostics

Press and hold the d key on startup:

If none of those work make a Genius Bar appointment for a free diagnostic:
