email "share" function for photos (how to change email address)

Hi,

I used to be able to bring up the "share" function on a photo/video (right click or arrow at top) and my Mac OS email would be included along with messages, Airdrop, etc.

Now my email is missing and when I use "more" it appears my email is "permanent" and it happens to ne incorrect anyway.

Is there a way to change my email back to my Mac OS address (Icloud)

thanks.

iMac 27", macOS 10.14

To be able to share with the Mail.app and your iCloud account, make sure, that you make Mail.app your Default email reader.

  • Launch Mail, open "Mail > Preferences" and click the General tab.
  • Set "Default email Reader" to Mail.app
  • Restart Photos and Mail.

Now you should be able to send selected photos and videos using Mail and to set the account you send from in mail to your iCloud account.
