On my iPhone 7 the the Apple ID in the AppStore even though I changed in settings on iTunes & AppStore. The Apple ID remains as my old Apple ID and I don’t remember the password for my old Apple ID so now I can’t update or download any more apps

It sounds like you've changed your Apple ID and are prompted to enter the password for the old Apple ID when updating apps, and I'm happy to help. Any apps that were downloaded using the old Apple ID must be deleted and reinstalled in order to be updated. If you still can't download or update apps after doing this, you can try these instructions:
