Downloading a movie

Hi just bought 50GB because I had no storage left. So I’ve been trying to buy a movie on iTunes for my flight tomorrow and it keeps saying I don’t have enough storage to download it . But I just bought more. So I’m confused. Please help ? Please.

If you've just bought 50 gig you've bought extra space for your backups, to download the film you need free space on the actual iPad. To see how much free space you currently have on it : Settings > General > About > Available . To see how much each app is currently using on the iPad (and therefore to help with what to delete to free up space) : Settings > General > iPad Storage
