I had just used the app program on my iPhone XS to open the kindle app. I entered a. Old password to open (luckily) and several minutes later I got an email saying they had all my passwords (showed the password I had just mid entered) and pay or else yadda yadda and saying if I didn’t pay..etc.
Do I need to ‘clean’ my phone to make sure there is no malware on it? I don’t typically know of malware affecting iPhones...help!

I did ignore it and nothing happened, I actually got another one a week later (but came from a different sender) with same basic message. Apparently this scam has been around since 2011. I don’t know how they get our passwords, though; that’s a little scary.
phishing is a mail which attempt to scam you into providing them your appleID, password and maybe credit card info willingly
so it effect all your devices heck it could come by paper mail
phising does not leave malware on the tagets device

I also received an email from "Save Yourself" and don't understand the response provided to this question. Does it only affect my PC and not my IOS devices? Is there something I can do to remove it from my PC (not a Mac)? I don't trust the downloadable files that come up in the search to remedy this.
