Is my MaBook Pro, which is 8 years old, compatible with macOS Mojave? I went to Apple Store to upgrade to Mojave and I was told I couldn't install. Nothing stated about incompatibility. Why I couldn't install? But they do say those macs which are OSX 10.8 or above are compatible.

Macbook Pros from 2011 are not compatible. That link has a list. Mid 2012 onwards
