How do I turn off places of interest in Apple maps
How do I turn off the labels for restaurants, shopping centers, Hotels, schools, etc. in apple maps?
iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS 10.14
Uncheck Show Labels in the "Show" drop down menu. There's no way to disable just certain labels.
