how to remove virus that came from the appstore dr.cleaner i donot have url i have virus you will not let me attach to this, why or how can get it to you? THE URL IS THE APP STORE 156 virus spyagent and more.

that is on 4 computers 624 how did that get in the app store . you will not let me put it here

While Dr. Cleaner is garbage, MacPaw does not include things such as keyloggers or other types of spyware with their apps. Assuming you really have such malware on your Mac, it came from somewhere else.


Typically, malware that bad comes from illegal sites, such as P2P or file sharing of cracked commercial software. When you install (example) a cracked version of Photoshop, you give that installer the right to install anything else in that package you weren't expecting. Illegal software is the number one way crooks are getting the worst type of malware on Macs.


Not saying this is what you did, just pointing out the most common vector for such infections.


To post a screen shot, click on the little icon of the two mountain peaks and sun at the right of the formatting bar. Make sure such screen shots do not contain personal information.
