How do I disconnect keyboard from ipad? Does the onscreen keyboard appear on the screen then

Hello,


Can you please elaborate more on your problem? Do you have a physical hardware keyboard attached to your iPad and you wish to unpair the keyboard from your iPad? Are you wanting the on-screen keyboard to appear?


Assuming your keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard you can simply turn the keyboard off and the iPad will display the on-screen keyboard. When you are typing do you see the bar at the bottom of your screen. It has the cut, copy, and paste buttons along with typing suggestions? On the far right of the bar there is a downward facing arrow. If you press bad hold this button it will force the iPad to display the on-screen keyboard.
