Someone sent me an email attachment from a Mac. The attached file is a Pages file and I'm trying to open it. First I right-clicked over it and selected the "open in iCloud.com" option but nothing happened. Then I renamed it and added ".zip" in windows explorer, but that didn't do anything either (when I tried to open it). What should I be doing so that I can open this file?

Ask the sender to resend the file in Word format. Pages can save as a Word document.
Changing a file extension doesn't change the internal format of a file. Pages is a Mac application that doesn't have the level of cross platform support that the Word .doc or .pdf formats do. I don't know why it won't open in iCloud.com but changing the file extension would be unlikely to help.

I will do that, although the file was sent to me a third party. It might take some time for that to happen. I'm more interested in understanding why the "open with iCloud" option doesn't work when I right-click on the file. Or, how to rename the file in Windows 10 to something I can open (e.g., zip).
