White jagged line appearing for a split second when watching flash content in google chrome

Hi,

For quite some time I´ve had a white jagged line appearing horizontally across the screen for a split second when watching flash videos, for example youtube videos. This only appears in google chrome, not in any other programs, and only when watching videos in full screen. I´ve tried reinstalling google chrome to no avail.

google chrome version 75.0.3770.142

MBP 15 inch 2016

Graphics: Radeon Pro 460 4096 MB

Processor: 2,7 GHz Intel Core i7

Mac OS High Siera version 10.13.6

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you can try. Perhaps disable hardware acceleration in the Advanced settings or enable it if it's already off.

It doesn't help your issue but YouTube switched from Flash to HTML5 in 2015 so flash isn't the issue. I can't actually reproduce your problem in Chrome 75.0.3770.142 but flash support will soon be disabled by default in Chrome and removed altogether in 2020.
