Why does the ringer volume drop to nothing each time my cars Bluetooth connects to iPhone X? Even when manually turned up, volume zeros out with one touch of the vehicles volume control.

Apple could never figure this out when I contacted them and spoke with someone. I discovered that when I go in under the sounds for the ringer volume, I turned off where it says “change with buttons,” it fixed the problem for me.
Dennis_from _temple, that is sad news. I was so hoping that iOS 14 would fix this issue that so many people are having.
I hoped this would end with ios14. Tim Cook, please do your job and resolve this issue.

BTW...that 24-hour trick turning off the Bluetooth does not work.
I just got my Android today! Good luck with a company that is proprietary, forces you to buy their accessories and push problems to force you to buy newer phones. Siri isn't worth it.

Ok this is getting extremely creepy I just went into settings to check my ringer volume and guess what the ringer was at 0% I swear that Bluetooth isn’t even on
The problem never existed until I bought a 11 PRO. The issue will go away when the 12 PRO arrives. Apple can not correct the hardware design failure with a firmware update.

I've been having the ringer shut-off issue for over a year! I worked with a "genius" at Apple for almost two months to correct this problem and in the end, she just gave up!
It’s apples problem, they are aware. Nothing you can do to fix it. Have to wait for an apple update
