Random activation lock and more
During vacation I turned off my iPad mini 4 with cellular data, to charge it faster. When I turned it on the world famous hello set-up sequence, ok maybe not world famous for anyone else besides me cause this screen would haunt me for the continuing weeks and still now. It only asked for my Apple ID and password like it had been activation locked, but it wasn’t. It did this a second time, when I restarted, and would you believe a lucky number three times. However the lucyness was good enough to erase my iPad completely. I restored from a iCloud backup but that good luck stayed after the backup when it restarted or at least tried to restart after the back up it got stuck in a boot loop, but I didn’t have a computer with me so fast forward a week or two without my iPad where I plug it in to the computer and nothing happened before an hour when I tried the update option, but it kept the recovery mode message so I had to restore it again. I got it up and running again accept cellular data, it says your getting a signal but I never did a few hours after the second restore occasionally it acts like it’s been activation locked still. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, am I alone. If you have what was your fix.or any other helpful nuggets of info.
