Hello, can anyone confirm if a webcam, perhaps with a USB type C connection such as a Logitech Brio, would work with a 2018 iPad Pro? I want this so that I can set up an iPad for telepresence, and therefore need a front-facing camera with a wider angle than what is built in to the iPad.

Currently, iOS all iDevices are incompatible with all external Webcams.
There are NO workarounds.
Wireless Webcams may, indeed, work, and work with a special iOS App, but the commonplace, wired USB Webcams will definitely NOT work with any iOS device.

I had heard of external cams working but perhaps through an app?

Looks like those use a wifi or bluetooth connection though.
