Can a webcam be used with an iPad?

Can a webcam be used with an iPad so there is a camera in the center of the iPad in portrait mode? If so, can the camera attach when the iPad is in a gooseneck iPad holder?

However, That’s not advantageous if I want to use the iPad as a guide for a stream’s conversation, and I want a good angle that comes from my iPhone sitting inside a ring-light in front of my desk. Can anyone confirm if this feature is unavailable? Or maybe there is a respected application I can download similar to ivCam or EpocCam (which only work with the Mac OS, rather than iOS -> iPad OS).? I would like to see a continuity camera feature that includes video, if none is currently available. Continuity Camera -- Use your iPhone as a webcam The fact that we can now easily use our iPhones as webcams is great (with the recent macOS Ventura upgrade). But there is ONE important feature missing: Wide-Angle View. Using our iPhone's wide-angle camera in regular view (not desktop view). In my case, it's for Zoom calls where I need a wide-angle webcam. Has anyone figured out how to do that or do you know if Apple plans to add that feature? Thanks.

No.

No webcams work with any iOS/iPadOS device.
