does ipad air model 1566 requires a certain stylus.

My iPad Air 2 Model 1566, purchased in 2015 require a certain stylus or nib.

I use a Wacom Bamboo stylus (1st gen) and ran out of nibs purchased a year ago.

The new nibs (just purchased) are not effective on the screen.

The nib glides over the screen without any effect. I have to push quite hard to make the screen

react to the touch.

Is there something wrong with my screen or is it the nibs that have changed?

Any help wpould be appreciated.

Perhaps your Wacom Stylus is failing on you. You can try a different stylus, like the Adonit Pixel, which comes highly recommended by other users.

Sounds like the nibs are not the correct type. If the Wacom stylus worked before with the iPad but it doesn't work with the new

nibs, then its likely the nibs are at fault.

If the screen works correctly when you use your finger, then you likely have the wrong kind of tip for the stylus.

Hi. Thanks for the response. I was thinking along the same lines. It seems strange that the composition of the nibs would change enough to cause a problem. But it could be.

The new nibs work great on a newer iPad we have.

Just a little weird.
