Cant download update

Y iphone 8 has greyed out wifi button and cant update ios because it wont let me turn on wifi how can i downloadvmy update withoutvwifi

I suggest you reset the iPhone. Without wi-fi, the other option is to update through iTunes.

Incidentally, before you update anything, I suggest you be sure your iPhone is working properly.
