iPad 6th Gen screen recording flickers while using Apple Pencil
Hi, my recording is fine with Apple Pencil away (physically away ~ 1 foot). If it gets close to the screen, especially when writing, the recording will flicker. Please help to fix.

@lawski: not sure why you have to bring awful subjects like those here. Does not helpful at all. I guess I'll ignore you for now.
For others who are interested in perfect iPad screen recording while using Apple Pencil like me, I found a solution. You can use a third party screen recording app. I tried many apps and eventually, "Go Record" https://apps.apple.com/us/app/go-record-screen-recorder/id1345200849 works nicely.
I also submitted this issue through Apple Feedback Assistant. I'll update in the future when more information comes. In the mean time, happy recording.

Hi everyone, I went to Apple Store and have the ipad looked at by Apple. Hardware diagnostics are all green. I tried all ipad version and the flashy screen recording happens with all of them. Yes, you heard it right. All of them from the air to the pro. An Apple staff was with me. I think this is a serious software bug. How do we notify Apple?
Hello,
Are you able to post an example recording? Apple Support Communities does not support videos so you’d have to upload it to a service like YouTube and share a link.
Sorry, but I've now watched it 4 times and I don't see what you're describing. If you think there's an issue with your iPad/Pencil however, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them. But I don't honestly see anything. Sorry.
I would hardly call this a serious problem. The screen flicker you posted, which in the first video wasn't even noticeable and in the second video was not very significant, hardly seems very serious to me. I'd venture a guess the vast majority of people don't even do screen recording while using their Apple Pencil. I think you may be the very first person I've seen on this forum even notice this artifact. But I get it bothers you, so use the link I provided at the top to let Apple know it's an issue you'd like them to be aware of.
Hello,
I can see it now! That is very strange and not expected behavior. I suggest reaching out to Apple so they can help diagnose this problem.
I saw it as well and agree that you should reach out to Apple for guidance.
Ps: Didn't mean to respond to you
Please refer to video for detail. At the first moment, Apple Pencil is away. Screen is fine. After that, I started writing with Apple Pencil and screen flickers.
@zmclearan: does the link to the vid help to give any insight?
I watched the video twice and I don't see screen flickering?
It's quite subtle. Pay attention to "take 5: apple pencil is now away" before and after Apple pencil present.
I paid close attention and I'm sorry, but I don't really see what you're seeing.
Maybe I said it wrong at the beginning. The whole screen does not flicker. It's the text that does. If you stare at the text. You'll see the difference with and without Apple Pencil.
I’m sorry as well, I have observed the video a couple of times now and I cannot see what you are describing.
I managed to record another one and zoom in. Please have a look again guys. It's very easy to see now. iPad firmware is 12.4 at the time of recording.
