Hi folks. Please how can I get my iPod classic 80G hard disk fixed? I have no technical expertise whatsoever. Thanks

See Corrupt iPod Classic - Apple Community. What are your HDD stats? Assuming the drive has failed you can search for local phone repair shops that can also fix iPods if you don't fancy trying to conduct the repair yourself.

Thank you. I tried some hacks you put up on other posts and I've realised that my hard disk is dead Diagnostics cannot find my device. I've not had luck finding local repair people around my place that can fix ipods.

The alternative is to source a drive off Amazon or eBay and then tackle it yourself or beg a more technical friend or colleague to help.
