I am rebooting an old iPad. All has gone well except that I can't connect to the internet. Can I plug into the computer to do this? Where? thanks...

Why can't you access the Internet?

Do you have a home WiFi network router/MODEM setup in your home?

Have you turned on WiFi on the iPad in the iPad’s Settings app and connect to your home WiFi network?

Does the home WiFi network have a password associated with it that you cannot remember?

An iPad cannot connect to the Internet by connecting to a computer.

That is not possible.
