unable to activate

I am attempting to setup my iPhone 7. I am receiving a message that says "Unable to Activate. An update is required to activate your iPhone." The only option I'm given is to shutdown. Then, it's the same. Do I need to go to the Genius Bar again at an Apple Store?

Update your iPhone to iOS 12.4

If you are getting this message, it appears you need to update your iPhone.

So, on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update and update whatever pops up.

See if you have the iOS 12.4 Update installed. If not, install this and see if this now all works.
