Apple Pay emails

Hello!

Lately I’ve received a few emails from “Apple Pay” that look like receipts for anything from $13 to over $100. I’ve checked my bank accounts and it doesn’t reflect that any purchases like that have been made so I’ve been ignoring them. Lately I’ve received about 2 in the past week or so and I want to make sure my card isn’t getting stolen. Has anyone encountered this or have any advice on maybe how to stop receiving these false emails? I figure they’re scams and don’t want to click anything in the email or change anything using the email I’ve received in case it’s being monitored.

thank you in advance!

Do the emails address you by name or 'dear customer', ' hello' etc., or have spelling or grammar errors ? To check emails :

Phishing and similar emails : Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Genuine iTunes emails : Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store - Apple Support

If in doubt never use a link in an email, type in the correct web address.
