I started family sharing with one child in the group. We no longer have the ipad the child was using and want to stop family sharing. But apple settings won't let me because it says I have to transfer the child. There is no device and or other apple ID to transfer the child to, so what do I do to stop family sharing.

ughh. after being a lifetime apple user, it's issues like this that makes my ipad my last apple product. very frustrating.
