Can one person have more than on AppleID?

If the person has more than one Apple tool can s/he have more than one ID?

You can, but your reasoning doesn't make much sense. If you set a different AppleID on each of your Apple devices, none of the information will synchronize across all devices. If you want to maintain two completely different lives on each device, then different AppleID's would be one way to do it.

Some people maintain a single AppleID for purchases, and another for iCloud data/features.
