“Please update billing info”

 I am trying to download apps on my phone , but it is not letting me . When i try too it states “Please update billing info”. I am currently trying to remove the card from my account . But it also won’t let me do that either because of “active subscriptions” i had cancelled . Can you please help me get rid of those subscriptions and remove the card from my account so i can be able to download apps again? Thanks!

See if this support document helps. If you can't remove your last payment method or use no payment method with your Apple ID - Apple Support
