Samsung SynMaster SA350 not displaying optimum resolution after Mojave

Hello,

I recently updated my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inc, Early 2015) to Mojave (Version 10.14.6) and I have a Samsung SyncMaster SA350 LED display that has worked great for many years.

Now I cannot get the display to go to the optimum 1920 x 1080. in the Display control panel this option does not show up if I select the "Scaled" resolutions, and if I use the "default for display" it takes it to 800 x 600.

I called Samsung and they were unable to find a solution and suggested that there might be a video card driver update that I am missing?

My graphics card is an Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Any suggestions please?
