using an external USB microphone for an iPad screen recording

Can I use an external USB microphone (through a lightning connector to my iPad Pro) as the audio input for a screen recording on iOS 12? Thanks.

Hello,

When a USB microphone is plugged into an iPad then all applications that record audio will default to the external microphone. I use this all the time and it works great! Please verify that your have microphone enabled before a Screen Recording. Long press on the Screen Recording icon in Control Center to enabled microphone.
