I trying to set up my mom iPad,,it lock up,,said we have to connect to iTunes but none of us can Seem to get it to connect,,

If the iPad screen simply shows a USB to iTunes: If you see the Connect to iTunes screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If the iPad says it is disabled: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
