How can I delete the photos from my Mac and iPad without it going from my iPhone as well?

How do I prevent iCloud photos from backing up photos taken on my iPhone on to my Mac and iPad? How can I delete the photos from my Mac and iPad without it going from my iPhone as well?

If you don't want photos taken on your phone to sync to your Mac and iPad, on the Mac, go to System Preferences/iCloud and uncheck Photos syncing. In the Photos application, go to Photos/Preferences/iCloud and turn iCloud syncing off. On the iPad, make sure you have full resolution photos in the Photos app, then got to Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide photos syncing off.


You should then be able to delete the photos from the Mac and iPad.
