Format Thumb Drive for H.264 to play on LG TV or most TV's

Hi,

I exported a 2 hour timeline to H.264 HD.

I have a 32 GB Thumbdrive that I formatted to ExFAT.

I dragged the 2 Hour H.264 (MP4) file onto the thumb drive then I plugged the thumb drive into my LG TV so I can watch it on TV.

It won't play on the TV. In fact it says "Problem on the USB Drive."

What am I doing wrong? How can I get it to work? How do I Format it correctly? I know I need something called "Master Boot". Where is that?

I am on a Mac Operating System High Sierra.

Any help would be great.

LG states the format has to be either FAT32 or NTFS.

Might want to ask about suggestions over in the LG forums, too.

Selecting MS-DOS FAT should get you there. NTFS is available as a third-party add-on.

Hi again,

how can i format the thumb drive on my Mac when I do not have those 2 formats available to me in Disc Utility on High Sierra? I don’t have FAT32 or NTFS. It’s also a 15 Gb file.
