When I fall out with one of my friends, my messages to them start going through as texts instead of iMessages (we both have iPhones). They are manually doing this but just for me as when another friend texts it goes through as an iMessage. How are they able to do this? I think they want me to think I’m blocked but I thought when you’re blocked on iPhone, the message goes through blue but never shows delivered. Any ideas?

Definitely didn’t ask you for life advice 🙄. I’m more or less interested in a technological reason as to how this is being accomplished because I know of none. Now....do you have anything to contribute related to the question being posed?

No this is not the case as I’ve had another friend text them at the exact same time and it’s gone through as an iMessage
I think you should worry less about what color the messages are and more about mending the friendship.
Or, just stop texting them.
