this email is not an apple id

so my ipad (3rd gen) is locked two days ago and it needs my apple id and password to unlock.


I forgot the password and I go to the site to change my password but when I use my email that i need the password for activation lock, it says "this email is not an apple id"


I checked it hundred times but its like my email is removed from apple and i cant open my ipad


Imade this apple id 7 years ago and used it on my ipad but for now its dissappeared and when i enter it it will give me this error " this email is not an apple id "


please help me i need my ipad

Had you changed the primary email address on the account, or got Apple to permanently delete the account ?


If you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it’s not second-hand), you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
