My credit card has expired and I am not allowed to add a new credit card instead

The credit card associated with my iTunes account has expired.

When I try to update the info on my phone, I am asked to verify my expired card by entering the security code.

Once I do, I am prompted that the card is expired and I need to update my billing info on my computer.

On my computer, I am prompted with this message " your credit card is about to expire. Please provide valid payment information and click on Done to continue using the store".

I am not allowed to remove it nor am I allowed to add a new card.

Im stuck in a loop.

Any tips on how to resolve my issue and add my new credit card?

Try adding the new card and removing the old one via https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage

If that also doesn't work contact iTunes Support and see if they can help you do it :  http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww  (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
