One of my external drives is incorrect showing as part of Time Machine. As such, my Back Blaze B/U program will not let me back this drive up.

If you have allowed Time Machine to use that drive, then your options are,
1) erase the drive and start over fresh with your third party backups
2) continue running Time Machine on that drive and get another drive for third party backups
