Turn Off iCloud photos without deleting all the photos and videos on my iPhone

My iCloud Storage is full and I don't need photo & video synchronization. So I wan't to turn off iCloud Photos and store everything just on my device.

But when I'm trying to turn off iCloud Photos it says all media will be deleted from my iPhone as well.

Can I delete everything from my iCloud, but keep it on my iPhone?

Hi prideon,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with your iCloud Photos today. It sounds like you want to store the original photos on your iPhone.

This article can help with Photos as well as other iCloud data: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud. Scroll down to "Photos and videos". You'll find instructions on how to download and keep the originals as well as a link to an article on importing to your computer later.

Have a fantastic day!
