Gray icon in iMessage when I receive texts

When I get texts my phone double vibrates. I am not talking about when you get one vibration then the next in a couple mins, this happens twice in succession immediately. Also, the icon for unread messages is a gray circle instead of a blue one why is this? I just download iOS 13 beta 4

iphone 11 not playing alert sound nor vibrating when texts are received My wife's iphone 11 does not play a sound when a text message is received. All settings show that for "messages" that sound is on for that ap, and that "silent mode" is off. It doesn't "vibrate" either, and that setting is on for both regular and silent modes. There's a small icon next to the messages that has a speaker with a line through it, but have no idea what it is or why it's there. Anyhow, need to get the sound and vibration working again -- any suggestions? Thanks

iphone 13 not vibrating for texts Hey all. My phone suddenly stopped vibrating when receiving texts. I still see the notification for the texts on screen. I’ve gone through settings and made sure haptics were turned on in “sound and hapatics.” I’ve also gone through accessibility->touch and made sure vibration was on. The vibration on my phone still works, I feel it when I receive calls and when I toggle hapatics off and on I feel a small vibration. Any ideas?

It may be because of the beta software. The hosts do not allow us to discuss/troubleshoot beta software here. You need to use the feedback channels you were given when you signed up for the beta program.
