Mojave 10.14.5 Audio Glitch

I have a brand new Mac Desktop and have only been running it for two months. The audio glitches after some time, or even from the very beginning of start up. It sounds like Play (stutter) Play (stutter) Play (stutter) every few seconds and so on throughout a song, video, anything that involves graphics and playback of any kind. I've tried to do the audio core restart. no changes. The only thing that fixes it sometimes is a whole computer restart. This is a brand new computer.... any solutions or bug fixes??... its definitely an issue...
