Problem updating phone

I have problems updating my iPhone 8 plus to the latest software, I'm currently in IOS 12.2.1 i tried through iTunes but seems like nothing is working for me right now. any suggestions ?

Well, you have left it to us to guess a lot, as we don't know almost anything about the particulars of your situation.
A likely issue is your iTunes is not current enough.
