Flashing folder icon

I deleted boot camp from my imac(I ejected it and erased it), a day after that I turned on my computer and a flashing missing folder with a black background (i saw in videos it’s white...) so I unplugged my computer and pressed option and then my Mac worked, i did this also a day after and it worked again, today it happened again but I turned the mac off and press option and it and it didn’t work, I did it more than 3-4 times and still it dosent work, please help me!!!

That means it cannot find the startup drive. Here is an article with things to try: If a flashing question mark appears when you start your Mac - Apple Support


You can also try an NVRAM reset: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support


Did you use Bootcamp Assistant to remove the Bootcamp partition?
