Updated to 9.1 but not seeing Advanced Text Fill Options. Bug? Or Versioning issue?

I've upgraded to Keynote 9.1, and the version is supposed to have advanced text fill options -- but I'm not seeing them. I'm on Mac OSX High Sierra -- does it have to be a newer version MacOS to get the new features? Or...?

And are these styles going to be viewable to only those running the same version of Keynote on a specific version of Mac OSX?

Any help on this topic would be appreciated!

Keynote v9.1 has a default Text Color selector adjacent to its inkwell/color chooser globe. That is the advanced text fill selector as you can also do gradient fills of text, and other options from that selector. This selector is present on the Text panel in High Sierra and Mojave.
