i just got a MacBook Pro and started loading it
at the step where I had to create an Apple ID it stuck and for now it’s been loading for an hour but nothing else happens
the “back” and “continue” buttons don’t respond
How can I solve this?

Maybe wait a little while longer, but you may have to force shut down and restart. Hold down the power key until it shuts down, then press it again to start up.
I don't know whether it will restart the setup assistant or just go to a login screen.

It's not a big deal.
Once you have completed the Setup Assistant, sign out of iCloud and sign back in with your old AppleID.
Some people maintain two in order to buy apps and music, movies, etc., but use another for iCloud stuff.
Or, you can just abandon the new AppleID you created.
You should not need to create a new AppleID unless you want to make things difficult. Go back if you can and sign in with your current ID.
