I took a photo just under the surface of the swimming pool

Hi I am on holiday and took a photo just under the surface of the swimming pool. As it states clearly it is waterproof up to 1 meter. ? It worked fine all day and is still working fine the next day apart from the camera has all condensation on it and now takes blurry photos. ??

Now what. As a waterproof phone up to 1 meter survey this should not happen ? And from a company like apple I do not expect this. I have used apple phones and products for years never had a issue till now. Please get back to me ASAP as I need my camera on my phone working.

Here is a typical disclaimer from Apple about water resistance.

iPhone XR - Apple

iPhone XR is splash, water, and dust resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes). Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.
